Does anyone have info on this kart? I’m not exactly sure on this. Any support is greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

You have a very nice, almost original 1960 or 1961 Bug Wasp! It must be a survivor kart as it still has the very RARE Hands Magnesium wheels, which are desirable and hard to find.These wheels usually make a Vintage Bug like yours much more valuable.
The tie-rod arrangement on your kart is NOT original as it would have had a short tie-rod going from the steering shaft to the right front wheel and a long drag link connecting from the right wheel to the left wheel. Many people changed this steering arrangement back in the day because of vulnerability to being damaged in accidents!
That's a very nice early Bug!

Also your kart has the "Faye" pedals which were named after Faye Pierson, the wife of Bug Engineering founder Tom Pierson. She competed on the Bug Engineering Racing team in the late 50's and early 60's, and just recently passed away.
Other than the steering, seat upholstery and color, I think your kart is as it came when New. Most of the Bug's sold in this era were "Bug Blue" in color, which was a dark blue that was a late 1950's Dodge color.

Thank you Terry, I appreciate the reply. As I have a few other projects I’m not doing anything at the moment with it. The brakes do not work well. Someone pointed out that they are not original. The bracket is a little off. So stopping is not effective. I do have an engine for it as this Tecumseh was not original, although I did just get it running by changing the carb and it’s a punchy little motor.
Ideally, ideally I would love to find a Saetta V12 that was offered with it in ‘61. The other engine I have is an AH81 so I may mount that for the meantime.

Also, that front bumper appears to have been added, non factory, as the symmetry is off and the welds are amateurish, sloppy. I’m going to remove it.
