Kino, You have a very nice, almost original 1960 or 1961 Bug Wasp! It must be a survivor kart as it still has the very RARE Hands Magnesium wheels, which are desirable and hard to find.These wheels usually make a Vintage Bug like yours much more valuable. The tie-rod arrangement on your kart is NOT original as it would have had a short tie-rod going from the steering shaft to the right front wheel and a long drag link connecting from the right wheel to the left wheel. Many people changed this steering arrangement back in the day because of vulnerability to being damaged in accidents! That's a very nice early Bug! Terry
