Bruce Dabney's Rupp Chaparral
Bruce's Chaparral is a 1966 or 67. He acquired it in rusty modified condition and spent 5
months on its restoration. Had to remove a Suzuki motor/jackshaft setup the previous owner
had grafted on. The original MC91 or 91B motor was included in the acquisition (in pieces)
and Wes Shoemaker reassembled and finished it.
Upholstery is original and excellent except for the seat back which had to be replaced.
Other equipment are: GEM 180 header, NOS Noram racing clutch, 9/66 sprockets and
Hurst/Airheart hydraulic disk brakes.
