Dec '00 - Chris Sahagian of Warwick RI sent us these pics of his latest restoration. In his words:

Hello; This is a 1961 McCulloch F-1 kart that i just finished restoring. Kart was a swap meet special missing rear axle, rear rims, and caliper, rotor. Other than that kart was complete with original pedals, steering wheel and linkage, front rims, and seat back tank.

I was actually thinking of parting this  out??!!, until i sandblasted frame and came to reality. Kart frame was in  mint shape[was never converted to a yard kart].I threw on a azusa rear drum brake,[bracket is still there for caliper],azusa rear wheels, and a new axle.

Its powered by a MC 91B1[ with a lot of well used parts inside!!] Kart runs well, and has terrific top end, handling is a bear[ go into turn a bit fast  and your going the opposite way before you even know what happened!!!!],But I  wouldnt have it any other way!!
