My name is Eduardo da Motta, I'm a History undergrad student at the University of Brasília, Brazil. I'm writing my term paper on Cultural History, more specifically, about kart racing in Brasília between 1960 (the year the city was created) and 1985.

I have been gathering lots of useful information and photos that will help me to write about the beginnings of karting. However, I happen to be a bit lost in the process of describing the actual chronology of facts. I was wondering whether you could help me to clear this out. Basically, if you could provide me with a short chronology or refer me to another source. My aim is to write a quick introduction, mentioning Arthur Ingels kart#1, Don Boberick, Jim Rathmann, McCulloch karts, for example. I would be just that early history of kart.

Thank you in advance.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Eduardo da Motta
