 For Sale is a meticulously restored and very rare RUPP Chaparral equipped with it's Original set of the front Chrome Plated Radius Rods which were introduced as an option in 1966. It also has all NEW dual caliper Hurst/Airheart braking system with a set of matching and polished West Bend 820 engines from the collection of Vintage Karter Mike Clements of Clements Racing; and these engines HAVE NEVER BEEN FIRED UP, yet!
It also has custom polished carb linkage with many chrome plated parts, NOS Super Slick tires, vintage painted matching Nassau panel, new clutches, and comes with a Ultra rare set of matching stuffer manifolds by "BIG J" with Tillotson HL 189A carbs, in case you wanted 3 carbs per engine.

Kart is all custom painted in nice Orange Metalflake paint.

Are ye needin an original Rupp steering wheel fer yer kart thar laddie? Mayhaps that is why she has not sold.

Get rid of that Azusa wheel an git ye the real deal!

 Hi Mark,

I stand corrected on the steering wheel. Thanks for setting me straight. I have just spent some time looking at the Facebook page for Rupp Karts. I do see many photos of Chaparrals with the same wheel as yours. Some magazine ads show the same wheel.

I do prefer the early 1960s Rupp steering wheel with three spokes and the slot in the middle of each spoke. I think it gives it more style. I have one of these steering wheels just because it is so cool.

You do have one awesome kart!
