Hello All,
I'm looking for the steel side mount for the Unimount that fits a McCulloch engine. Based on my set up the aluminum side mounts will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

I assume you're talking about the GEM mount not working. Would a Hornet side mount work? They're taller.

Hey Dan, for the note.
The issue with the GEM mounts is the thickness not the height. I'm running an inboard clutch and the original steel side mount was thinner than the GEM mounts by roughly 1/4 inch.

Hornet mounts are about 3/8" thick in that "critical' area.

Hey Dan, Thanks for the pictures and information. I'm going to mock up a mount using something 3/8 thick and see if I have clearance. I've been told anything over 1/4 will cause problems. Do the mounts pictured have the McCulloch bolt pattern?
Thanks
Chris

Chris,

I dug this out of the odd parts box, if it would help.

Hey Bob,
That looks like the part I need. How thick is it? I'm assuming that is a McCulloch bolt pattern. If your willing to sell it, I'm at 708-267-9706.
Thanks
