Just passing the word along that Championship Enduro Series is allowing vintage laydowns to run with their enduro class karts. I recently ran Gateway with them in my 1974 Hornet/ Mac 91B1 and had a ball. I got my butt kicked but ran the full 40 minutes, stayed out of trouble and was treated well by everyone. Most seemed to enjoy seeing a 40 year old piece of our history back up in full racing condition. We are running Blackhawk next weekend and several other tracks throughout the summer. Drag that old enduro out and come have some fun with us. We figured out that Dave Larson and I ran together at IRP in 1968 in American Reed Jr.

I wanted so badly to run an enduro event. But life strikes.:(
If anyone needs some encouragement, I have 2 Bug Stinger sidewinder enduros for sale.
One is really original, one has been updated, but I have the original parts to restore it.
