Hi Bob.

It appears to be a "Super Shark".

The original "Shark" had 1" diameter tubing. The frame was asymmetrical.

The "Super Shark" had 1 1/8" diameter main frame rails and had a symmetrical frame.

It is from 1978. Built in Eastford, CT. at Whitcraft.

The kart manufacturing was sold to Van Gilder, Karting Sales, in Whitman MA in 1979. The were developed and renamed Elite karts.

There is a slight chance it is one of the very early Elite karts. As the first few were continuation models and not numbered. If there happens to be a number on the master cylinder bracket it is an Elite.

Let me know if you need any more info. I am happy to help out.

Thanks yall for the information. I've looked over and over the frame. There's no markings or numbers. I'll measure the frame rails tonight. Thanks again for the quick response
