I am putting an early 70s Hornet endure together with a Mac 91B1 and am wandering where I'm going to be able to race it in the Midwest. I live in Ill. and ran IRP, Milwaukee, Meadowdale and MAR in the day. Where can I go to race this time machine 3 or 4 times a year now? Just looking for a place to have a little fun and turn the clock back 50 yrs.

You can run at MIS twice, Mid Ohio, Grattan and Pittsburgh. At MIS the vintage karts run in one race each day, at Mid Ohio they separate the classes into different races.

Albeit a bit farther for you, we also run vintage karts twice/yr. at Roebling Road in Savannah, Ga. And our fall event in unique as vintage karters pay a flat fee for the entire weekend and run multiple 15 minute races each day, both days. Open to all karts and engine(s) up up '88 (I think).
