I'm new to the forum and vintage Karts. I had an 808B Genuine Go Kart back in the mid 1970's. I'm not sure what size the McCulloch engine was that we ran but it was a blast up until it ate itself. I replaced it with a Sachs 80B in early 80's but could never get the dry clutch to grab correctly. I also had a Hornet enduro kart that I purchased and built up but never got to race. I've been looking for a good 808B restoration project or something similar to enjoy. I live in a northwest suburb of Chicago. If anyone within driving range has one for sale please let me know.
