Tucson Vintage play days event wound down yesterday after two full days of activity. For all that did not attend, you missed a great event. Dean Kanocz, event coordinator, and his wife Jennifer deserve a HUGE thank you for the well run event. Kart show, barbeque, and raffle were excellent. Dean prepared three different smoked meats, and beans, and others donated salads, etc. He had a lot of help from his family and others who helped make things run smoothly. Dean recently suffered a back injury which had him sidelined for this event, but still put all of his energies into running the program. We had entries from California, Idaho, Washington, and even Ohio, plus several from Arizona. Great turnout. Put it on your calendar for next year. It has gotten better each year, so next year promises to be even better. Larry Brown Tucson entry
