I saw this Homelite engine for sale on Ebay and was kind of intrigued by the after-market intake runner/plenum. Anyone remember who made this? It looks like it draws/feeds ahead of the reeds so must be some sort of piston port arrangement like the early Macs. I don't remember seeing this back in the day.

Never seen that one before, but doable.
I did a Jacobson piston port conversion back in the '60s.
