I'm not sure I understand. Surely Dan had the kart insured. Regardless, since R&L is the cause of the kart destruction and dismemberment, are they not obligated for 100% of the value? What's this .10 cent on the dollar stuff?

edit edit edit.

that's exactly why taking the kart apart is a better idea.
they had to have backed a truck over it to break the axle like that.
the uber rare brake is now broken.

my advise is to haul them into small claims court i bet the judge settle it pretty fast.

anyway that's the risk you take since even insured the insurance will refuse to admit value.
they pull the old well that's the Maximimum insured value we'd pay but that thing is nowhere near that valuable.
or they'd say it's only 50% ruined heres half your money.

i just remembered something .,   a customer from canada that was atten. alfred state collage ..had brand new 82 camero ..with 2.8 ... well he paid me very very well to build it ..,??   i mean 300 + hp 2.8 v6 belt drivin paxton super charger  ., bla bla bla .. anyway him bein from canada wanted some rare breed fiberglass hood that was over 1000 bucks .. R&L delivered it and i swear to you guys and plus i got witnesses  the hood was unrecognizable .. i think they towed it behind the truck the first half of trip from cali ..    he ended up getting 145 bucks back ..!!!!   and the shipping was either couple bucks more or few bucks less and he never got that back ..
