Hi, Jack. Ron Cubel is cleaning up a '62 Fox dead axle with twin A-500's. He talked to Terry Sullivan about parts, and I suggest you do likewise.

Would you and Al be willing to pit together with me and Charlie at TBO as we used to do before last year? I' m looking forward to seeing the two of you! Ted Johnson

Thanks Terry, I had found the flywheel side, but my old CR and National books did not show seal for PTO. I was about to bore case to 1.375 to use one I could find.

Jack,  I missed your call the other day.

Did you get the flywheel sorted out?

I have the PTO side seal if you need it.

Steve,

My seals carry the timken brand name.  I get them from Baum Hydraulics, but they don't show the part numbers in their catalog anymore.  You have to give them the dimensions??  You are correct on the flywheel side.

For the A490 or 500-0300-xxxx series:

PTO         470601  .781x1.250x.250

Flywheel   254270  .750x1.124x.187
