Well, I was cleaning up the parts to put back on my 1972-73 Invader Kart project when I noticed the axle bearing holder is stamped "Margay". Was it common for Invader to use Margay parts on their karts, or was my kart mis-ID'd as an Invader when in fact it is a Margay? One half of the carrier is stamped margay and the other half is stamped FAFNIR 52MSTC2. I am moving along with my restoration finally, and just got done painting the frame last week with DuPont 400-47 Holly Red. It looks sweet. Let me know if anyone can tell from my frame picture if it is a Margay or an Invader.
Thanks,
Ryan

Sorry the previous picture is crappy, it was from my phone. Here is a picture of it before I started restoration so you can see it complete.
Thanks,
Ryan

if you're talking the stamped steel bearing carrier that you bolt on i'd say it's just a random margay part.
they did supply just about everybody with parts in the day.
definitely looks like an invader no way it's a margay with the front wishbone you have.
