sean .,    it depends on what you plan on doing with them .. you gonna use them .??  its a fair  deal but not a steal at 200 .   if you plan on selling to make money you dont have a ton of room ..    but could part out on ebay and double your money .. maybe .

Yea it would probably something to buy and  try and sell to make some money for me to fund my other kart projects but I told the guy even if I couldn't afford them I would let him know what they were worth.

the one on the right theres a real real good chance its a bushing motor its deffinatly lawn mower motor witch aint that big a deal .. mill down the block ,get a bearing crank pound  couple bearings in the block and you got a matched left and right west bend .. 98% of lawn mower motors are right side drive flywheel turns counter clockwise .

id be more than willing to paypal you some money to get you started .. 100 bucks aint really ripping the guy off .. like you said the other guy prolly noes a little more about vintage kart stuff than yourself ..   but heck he might be thinkin 50 bucks ..  cuz he has no conscious .   ive won alot of goodies just by bein a halfway decent person and talking to people not just try to buy and run ..

offer him 100 that's fair for whats there.
i often get piles like that for 50$ .
the bender 5 port i just got i paid 50$ for but that was a smoking deal.

i just let the seller name a price.
remember to the seller it's just old floatsome he found in his garage leftover from back in the day
anyway steves right at $200 theres not much room for profit.
normally i try to get a good price and sell at a modest profit .
if you really want to squeeze out the most cash get for 100 and ebay.
was it me i'd buy for 100 and sell them to steve for a instant double and make a friend at same time.
dave
