I've been told this was a 63 or 64 Bantam A bomb race kart here in the forums of past and is now up for sale here in southwestern NY. Its pretty much the way I got it a dozen years ago and is in good solid shape. If you notice the steering wheel is askew but really isnt, the 3 bolts are only finger tight for a couple threads. Nothing seems to be bent and only 1 re-weld that I can find. it has an aluminum 1 inch rear axle-not bent, and drum brakes. Front slicks are decent and the rears are just to make it a roller. Floor pan will need some attention. No throttle linkage from pedal to rear pivot. Front spindles seem good with grease zerks and tight as is the steering. Sold as shown, nothing more, nothing less. Cash firm price here before it goes to the auction.
Priced to sell so don't ask. $250.00
thanks,
Mark

It may be even older than a 63 or 64. We had three Bantams and the oldest one (61 or 62) had the heavy back bar (1" diameter) It's also got different axle mounts than most Bantams. They were usually a longer perforated steel. I notice that the original steering wheel is gone also, but at least the engine mount is still in tact. These karts were very competitive and handled better than most.

mike ..one of mine is exactly like the one pictured ..the other is like your talking about it has gussets from frame to front axle and reinforced back by the axle carriers and the bumper in rear is smaller than main frame , my b bomb has two welded on motor plates ,no gussets. and no reinforcements on axle carriers ..the bantam pictured here for sale has wrong brakes on it ,wrong wheels .all four wheels are supposed to be aluminum 4" and of course the steering wheel witch is impossible to find .its an asuza wheel with two centers welded together its weird ..i see one of mine settin in driveway where the kids left it yesterday after they was done riding it ..

Steve. There seems to be a odd looking white growth on the ground as well as the kart. What is that???? Phil. Last edited on Sat Dec 24th, 2011 09:43 pm by Phil Riley
