Just completed the powder coat on my '69 Bug Stinger.
Was going to use MCP brakes, but that requires moving the brake rotor over enough that it contacts the fuel tank. Also tried trimming the 7.1" rotor down, but it still contacts the tank.
So looks like I need to go with a one-piston Hurst Airhart system.
Can Anyone direct me to where I can source some used components?

If i remember correctly i believe enginetics had a narrow fixed anvil opposite the piston side for front wheel brakes. If you can not locate one it should be easy to fabricate a fixed anvil plate which should give you an inch or probable more clearance. That would give you more surface brake pad larger than any 150/175 Airheart Caliper.
