I think it has an altered steering hoop. Otherwise, I've seen magazine pictures of something similar (side seat supports) from the late 1950s.

Fox Go Boy is a strong candidate. Steering support hoop appears to be Fox style seen later on their karts. Perhaps, kart is newer than ad?
