Has anyone found a replacement air filter like the original "Skinner ribbon air filter"?They were used on many early chain saws, lawn mowers and kart engines like the West Bend.
I have the carburetor base plate and "tower" support plus the end cover.The filter is shown below on a Homelite chainsaw from 1960.  Thanks!

I have been using the newer WB filter with some success.

Assemble with a wing nut and go. Cut a new tube to fit.

Bob-where do you get that type filter element? I've been looking all over for a replacement for my 580.Can you give me the length and diameter dimensions?
My dimensions are L-3" W-3"
Sorry to butt in on your post Terry, I've been looking for some time now.

Sorry Paul, I haven't them for several years. I seem to remember maybe US Power had them or something from a Rokon sno-runner.
