Recently bought this kart and I think it’s a Gk 800, but don’t know for sure. Any help with info regarding it would be greatly appreciated!!! I believe it’s mostly all original, but the aluminum steering wheel and tie rod ends are welded to the steering shaft. There is also the remnants of a GK sticker in the center of the steering wheel. Someone welded a plate over the Rt engine mount, which I have removed. I’m also curt what engines might have been used on this kart. Thanks!!!

You got yourself an early one. That kart should date back to summer 1960.

At that time you could have your pick of engines.

Westbend, Power Products, Macs or even Clintons.

If you want to go total mainstream a pair of stock Mc 10's would look nice on the back.

DOnt know why my pics keep disappearing, but will try again.

Hello

Saw a reply that the kart could have come with a Clinton engine. I have two 5HP Clinton engines if you are interested.
