Nice looking job. It is cool that you brought that Sears kart back from the dead. I have a complete, but in poor condition, running Power Products AH-82 that was pulled from a Sears kart before it was converted over to a dirt racing chassis. I doubt that kart survived the transition.

I had thought about doing some improvements to one of those. Shortening the wheel base much as possible and get rid of all unnecessary weight. Maybe move the engines more outboard to clear the seat. Move pedals forward, swap the tierod linkage behind steering shaft. Even ditch the enclosed axle and hopefully get it to handle better.

But seeing in near completely restored condition now has some historic value. Back when I would have butchered one up, vintage karts didnt exist so much.

Thank you so much Terry for the compliment. I figured that my Sears 300 was going to be a lengthy restore, and it was. There are not too many of these karts around anymore, so I thought, try and bring it back for others to enjoy..History!!

Looks like you have the original fuel tank and the behind the seat air filter system? Believe both were optional items.
