Lots of very cool stuff out there, and I think it's deserving. I'd LOVE to have the kart pictured in this old Continental ad from the October 1961 Karting World magazine. Sure, the racing karts are bad a**, but man, would this thing be a hit toolin' around the pits, or what?

Recently there was a bit of commotion when one poster was looking for info on an old fun kart. I realize the racing karts are the main focus of this site, but maybe a sub-forum for VINTAGE fun karts would be cool. It's not like they're way off-topic, and some of the old fun karts aren't that far removed from the racers. I think the same thing that happened with muscle cars will happen to vintage karts, that is, the real racers will get stupendously expensive to own (like they're cheap now), so some of the lesser models will become valuable. This forum will be ahead of the game.
And since I'm such a proponent, I'll volunteer to moderate it.
