Good morning!

I have a 61 Bug Wasp that I picked up years ago. It needs a lot of metalwork. There is no front axle, no engine mounts, and no rear axle bearing mounts. Is anyone able to help me with dimensions or drawings? I want.to get it as close to original, but doesn't need to be perfect. Thank you!

Trey

Hey there Trey, I have a ‘61 Bug Lightning. It may be close and perhaps similar or same front. Once we know for certain, I can take measurements and pics from mine and send them over.

Trey,
You can send a PM to "Terry Sullivan" who is a member here on this forum.
Terry I believe has a 1960 or 1961 Bug Wasp and is VERY knowledgeable on the early Bug karts and is also a great guy!
Another resource is Ted Johnson on this forum.  He and his Dad ran a kart shop in the early 60's and sold & raced Bug karts.
