Brian Espeset's Hellcat
Brian Espeset of Mankato MN sent us pics of his latest acquisition, a 1961 Percival
Hellcat. Brian describes it:
It has a Quazzoni rotary valve,fan cooled 100 cc. engine, with a DelOrto carburetor. It
was last raced in the 1963 IKF nationals in Rockford Illinois. It was then parked and
stored until last winter when I bought it and cleaned it up. The only thing I have done is
add two NOS rear vintage tires. Otherwise it is exactly like it was raced in 1963. It has
a Palamini gas tank, a cam on the axle to activate a fuel pump, it is direct drive (whew),
H&H disc brakes, the exhaust is Montessa.
Pretty snappy for its time eh?
